Fill PDF forms from new Google Sheets rows with Google Drive and JustFill
Go to WorkflowDescription
Quick overview
This workflow watches a Google Sheets spreadsheet for new rows, downloads a blank PDF from Google Drive, uses JustFill to populate the PDF form fields with the row values, and then uploads the flattened filled PDF back to a target Google Drive folder.
How it works
Triggers whenever a new row is added to the specified Google Sheets worksheet.
Downloads the blank PDF template file from Google Drive.
Sends the PDF and mapped Google Sheets column values to JustFill to fill matching PDF form fields and flatten the result.
Uploads the filled PDF to a chosen Google Drive folder using the generated filename.
Setup
Install the community node n8n-nodes-justfill and add a JustFill API credential.
Add Google credentials for Google Sheets and Google Drive access.
Update the Google Sheet document ID and sheet (gid) in the trigger.
Set the Google Drive file ID for the blank PDF template and the folder ID where filled PDFs should be saved.
Ensure the keys in the JustFill field mapping match your PDF form field names (use JustFill’s “List Fields” once to discover them) and that your Google Sheets columns use the expected headers (for example, Full Name, Company, Email, Phone, Date).
This workflow was created by JustFill and shared publicly on the n8n community template library. n8nFind indexes it for discovery — the workflow remains the property of its original creator.
